About Us

What started out as a facebook page and a conversation between two like minded individuals, has now blossomed into the largest and gayest outdoor party in the Arkansas Valley Area of Colorado!

Organizers and cofounders K.C. Leal, Dominque DMINQ Robbins, and Perla Chivara, have made it their mission to not only bring a fun event for the LGBTQ community, but has strived to be leading examples of what can be done when you believe in yourself and the power you possess.

Even though Perla has stepped back as an organizer, she is still very active in the community through her work and activism. We thank her for all she has done to push SECO Pride and its message forward, and we hope to work with her again soon.

SECO Pride was built out of love for LGBTQ people who have, for such a long time, been silenced and forced to live among the shadows while everyone else was able to live out loud and proud.

Yes, SECO Pride faced discrimination, hardship, and the evil that lurks in the Arkansas Valley, but we have proven that not only does this event need to happen, but that K.C. DMINQ, Perla and those who helped, were the right people to make this happen and break the door down!

SECO Pride aims every year to not only have fun, but also educate the next generation on the love, sacrifices, and bravery of people like Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Divine, Harvey Milk, Bayard Rustin, and so many others who have helped to pave the way, so that we can all live freely today, and we thank them for what they have done so we can pick up where they left off.

SECO Pride is much more than an event, It’s a movement!

The door has been broken down, the veil is lifted

WE ARE HERE, WE ARE QUEER

Will you join us?

We want to honor Jalisa Barth one of the original giant supporters of SECO Pride who sadly passed away in 2024!

Thank you Jalisa for your love and support of SECO Pride and the LGBTQ Community
